Well, I made it back home from college in time to hunt the evening. I went out and watched the edge of a corn field. About dusk two antlerless deer came out of the corn. They gave me a nice shot. Sadly, because I hunt in 2D doe season does not start till Saturday so I had to let them pass.
Later when I left the field edge and went back into the woods and came out into a field on the other-side I saw two more antlerless deer running across the field.
My father also saw other deer in the same general deer. The ones he saw came out of the corn as well. I’m thinking this is why I never saw any deer Monday when hunters drove the woods in the area. The deer were hiding in the corn.
